Hot Dog and a Hot Dog!

One hot summer day I woke up. I was so excited! I got dressed and wanted to run downstairs but I couldn`t until my parents got up! Finally they woke up. I was telling you about this because… I WAS TURNING 7!!! It was my birthday, July 2nd..
Anyway, I was already downstairs opening a present. It was a tennis game! My mom said she was making chocolate pancakes. WOW!  Then I opened a LPS (littlest pet shop) hospital. I wanted that so bad!  I also got a UK head band.  I tried it on and it looked good with my pink shirt and jean skirt.  Later my mom served the pancakes and they were delicious! Yum!  After that I got to go to build a- Bear!!  I got a wiener dog, put him in hot dog costume and named him Hotdog. Then we went to the pool. We were there for about an hour and then we went home. My dad asked me if I wanted hotdogs or hamburgers for lunch. I immediately answered, “HAMBURGERS!!!!!”  My dad looked to see if we had any and he said, “Sorry, we don`t have any.”   My dad went in the backyard and came in with a long hotdog with candles!  I was so confused.  He gave me a piece and I realized it was cake…chocolate cake that looked like a hot dog.   I loved my birthday so much! At night I got in bed and fell asleep.  I felt so happy.

The Scar

I was jumping on my mom’s bed, having the best time. Suddenly, I fell. My face hit the corner of a picture frame. It stung so badly and I could see blood. I started to cry and wail.

Finally, I was at the hospital. I started to cry again. Mom took my hand and held it. The doctor stitched up my lip. My mouth was sore.

We were finally done. On the way out of the hospital mom saw a big case of cookies. She bought a lion-shaped sugar cookie and we split it on the way home. It cheered me up a little, but I still have a scar under my lip.

Wipeout!

Water was splashing on me. I got soaking wet. We were paddling and paddling. I was with my mom and dad and a few other people on a white water rafting trip in Pennsylvania. We finally reached the last obstacle, Terror Falls. It was like a mini waterfall. Our guide told us to back paddle into terror falls, so we did what he said.

Then we all screamed, “AHHH!!!”

BUMP! SPLASH!

I fell out of the raft.

The water was like ice. I wasn’t really scared, but I really wanted to get back in the boat! I felt a tug on my life jacket, and before I knew it, I was back in. The rest of the way was short and smooth. It was a really fun trip!

My Trip to Florida!

One morning my brother and I were fixing breakfast and my mom said to us “We are going to Florida.”
Tyler and I hurried up and ate our breakfast and started to pack.
“Florida is fun,” Tyler said to me.
I told him, “It is going to be awesome!”
My mom came and told us we were leaving in two weeks.  Tyler and I begged her to go today, and she said we will start packing at 9:00am.  Then I went to go toss a football with my cousin. My brother went and played basketball.  When we got home we packed our sleeping bags, toys, and clothes for the trip.  My mom and dad rented a van.  It had six seats, footrests, and a TV in the back.  It was really cool.  We had lots of room!
When my dad got home from work we left for our big trip.  Mom and dad took turns driving.  We drove all through the night.  We finally made it to my Aunt’s house.  I was so happy to see my cousins.  We went to a restaurant and saw a woman with a puppet doing a ventriloquist act.  It was really good.  We went to the beach.  We went to my cousin’s baseball game.  We stayed in Florida for three days.  I can’t wait to go back!

The Crash

It was a sunny Sunday.  We were on our way to church.  Mom and I got in the car.  It smelled like flowers.  On the way to church we stopped to get breakfast at McDonald’s because it was a long drive. After we ate mom pulled our Blue Ford Escape back onto the road. There was nobody near us.  Then a white car came and BAAAM!!! It hit us. Our car spun around. “AHHH,” I yelled. I felt so scared. It was scary and a little fun, kind of like a roller coaster. “Weee!” After the crash we turned around and went home.  We didn’t go to church after all.

The Time I Jumped Off the Diving Board

Well at swimming lessons we had a chance to go on the diving board. I tried it. It wasn’t actually that hard, so I jumped. I did it again, even though I wasn’t supposed to.  Then I stopped jumping off the diving board because I’d already done it twice. The water smelled like chlorine in the indoor pool, and I was tired from all the swimming. My mom said it was time to go, and so we left.
The end
