My Trip to Florida!

One morning my brother and I were fixing breakfast and my mom said to us “We are going to Florida.” 

Tyler and I hurried up and ate our breakfast and started to pack.

“Florida is fun,” Tyler said to me.

I told him, “It is going to be awesome!”

My mom came and told us we were leaving in two weeks.  Tyler and I begged her to go today, and she said we will start packing at 9:00am.  Then I went to go toss a football with my cousin. My brother went and played basketball.  When we got home we packed our sleeping bags, toys, and clothes for the trip.  My mom and dad rented a van.  It had six seats, footrests, and a TV in the back.  It was really cool.  We had lots of room! 

When my dad got home from work we left for our big trip.  Mom and dad took turns driving.  We drove all through the night.  We finally made it to my Aunt’s house.  I was so happy to see my cousins.  We went to a restaurant and saw a woman with a puppet doing a ventriloquist act.  It was really good.  We went to the beach.  We went to my cousin’s baseball game.  We stayed in Florida for three days.  I can’t wait to go back!

The Crash

          It was a sunny Sunday.  We were on our way to church.  Mom and I got in the car.  It smelled like flowers.  On the way to church we stopped to get breakfast at McDonald’s because it was a long drive. After we ate mom pulled our Blue Ford Escape back onto the road. There was nobody near us.  Then a white car came and BAAAM!!! It hit us. Our car spun around. “AHHH,” I yelled. I felt so scared. It was scary and a little fun, kind of like a roller coaster. “Weee!” After the crash we turned around and went home.  We didn’t go to church after all.

The Time I Jumped Off the Diving Board

Well at swimming lessons we had a chance to go on the diving board. I tried it. It wasn’t actually that hard, so I jumped. I did it again, even though I wasn’t supposed to.  Then I stopped jumping off the diving board because I’d already done it twice. The water smelled like chlorine in the indoor pool, and I was tired from all the swimming. My mom said it was time to go, and so we left.

Mall Day with Grammy!

I always get excited when I go to the mall.  I was even more excited because I was with my Grammy. As soon as we got there I ran in, my Grammy behind me. Grammy asked where I wanted to go first. I said I would like to go to JC Penny’s.  When we arrived, she took me to the girl section. Then I found the shirt I wanted! My Grammy asked if I wanted some shorts.  I said sure!  I got some adorable shorts!  They had yellow flowers on them.

          I was getting pretty hungry, so we ate Subway and some cheese fries… YUM!

After lunch, we headed to the Disney Store. I got a stuffed chipmunk.  I got my brother a stuffed T-rex and an Avengers towel. Then we left. I got into the car.  I told my Grammy that it was burning up!  When we got home I ran in to show my Papaul my new clothes!  It was a great day at the mall!

Friendships are Powerful

My friend Emma is so nice and smart. She is talented. She is my friend, but I don’t get to hang out with her a lot. Only Clover and Alexis do. It’s just that when I want to ask Emma something, I feel like she wants to be alone with Clover and Alexis. They have a lot of fun, and I don’t want to spoil their conversion. When I go on the swings I always see Emma having laughing with Clover and Alexis. It just feels like I’m getting jealous, but I’m not. All I want is to hang out with Emma more, but I feel that Clover and Alexis make very good friends with Emma. I just feel left out.
